Unlike other internet-sites, VRAN does not collect any personal data on any visitor unless specifically disclosed by the visitor (i.e. in the membership-application).
Your e-mail address will be included as a return-address in your e-mail, should you choose to send mail to us. This is done automatically by your e-mail program and allows us to reply to you.
We do not disclose any e-mails, extracts thereof or your e-mail address to any third party without your prior specific consent. However, since regular e-mails are currently not encrypted and thus potentially accessible for hackers, open or covert intercept and through technical disruptions in the mail-delivery systems, we suggest that you do not disclose highly personal information in e-mails, if you rely on this information not being potentially known by any third party.
If you would like to send us mail of such personal nature, we strongly recommend you to use the postal service. It costs a bit more and is somewhat slower, but your mail will be protected by all applicable laws regarding the privacy of the contents of postal letters (or telephone calls) which currently do not cover communications such as e-mail.
If you prefer e-mail but require additional protection, we suggest you use an anonymous e-mail system such as an account at www.mailcity.com or www.hotmail.com (their basic mail-service is free). We will still be able to reply to your message, however, your private mail-address will not be disclosed to us (we will get something like MrX@hotmail.com or whatever alias you may choose). Please refer to the privacy-statement of the respective mail-service for information about their respective rules on privacy!
